It is pretty well known that Muslim fundamentalists freak out when anyone criticizes their religion or even depicts an image of their prophet Mohammad. In fact, Muslims are even known to get violent about it. Their severe reactions to such trivial things have frightened the media and the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, I published an Examiner article<\/a> about the website RevolutionMuslim.com<\/a>\u2019s \u201cwarning\u201d to the creators of South Park. I read what Abu Talhah al Amrikee had to say about the South Park episode in question and tonight\u2019s anticipated second part. Amrikee stated:<\/p>\n

“We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.\u201d

While I didn\u2019t see this on the website, CNN had reported that RevolutionMuslim.com had posted the home addresses for South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone as well as Comedy Central\u2019s New York City office. The website appears to be down now, so I was unable to investigate that further. I will have to take CNN\u2019s word on that.<\/p>\n

While Abu Talhah al Amrikee claims that this is merely a warning and not a threat, he very clearly is lying. There is no doubt that this is a threat. He told CNN that he posted the addresses not as a threat, but merely so people could protest. That is pretty thin unless his idea of a protest is what happened to Theo Van Gogh.<\/p>\n

In any case, I guess turn about is fair play so I am going to give Abu Talhah al Amrikee a warning. South Park has a lot of fan Abu and when their creators are \u201cwarned\u201d fans of the show just might do what Eric Cartman did the Scott Tenorman\u2019s parents. This is not a threat Abu, just a warning of the reality.<\/p>\n
