{"id":1755,"date":"2010-09-20T09:05:54","date_gmt":"2010-09-20T14:05:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dangeroustalk.net\/?p=1755"},"modified":"2010-09-20T09:05:54","modified_gmt":"2010-09-20T14:05:54","slug":"playing-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.dangeroustalk.net\/?p=1755","title":{"rendered":"Playing God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whenever someone makes a life and death decision, there will be a theist around to claim that someone is \u201cplaying God.\u201d The thing is that when it is a life or death decision, we aren\u2019t playing. Unlike theists, atheists view this life as the only life we have. We don\u2019t view life as a game used to decide whether we win eternal bliss or lose and get tortured for all eternity. Atheists don\u2019t play God, we live life.<\/p>\n<p>Living life means that we have to take responsibility for our decisions. Do can\u2019t really say that whatever happens is God\u2019s will. We have no excuses.
